Current Studies

The goal of our studies is to reach a better understanding of how cancers develop in persons with an Inherited Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome, so that we may improve the health care that can be offered to persons with these disorders.

Fanconi Anemia Cancer Screening Study

The Fanconi Anemia Cancer Screening Study seeks to improve cancer screening in people diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia (FA) by a comprehensive cancer program including incorporation of non-invasive oral cancer screening techniques to determine if this practice improves early cancer diagnosis and overall clinical care.

Inherited Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome Study

Over the past several decades, researchers and clinicians at the National Cancer Institute have studied individuals with Inherited Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes to better understand their genetic causes and medical complications, and to improve the health care for persons with these disorders.
